What is Birdr?
Birdr is a birding app that helps you find birds near you, plan birding trips, build your identification skills, and connect with a community of birders. We use real-time data from eBird to show you what's been spotted in your area.
Is Birdr free to use?
Yes. Birdr's core features are free, including bird sighting feeds, the life list, community features, and basic skill building tools. Birdr Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks advanced features, with 50% of every subscription going directly to bird conservation.
How do I create an account?
Tap "Sign Up" and create an account with your email address, or sign in with Google or Apple. You'll be birding in seconds.
How do I log a bird sighting?
From the main feed, tap the log sighting button. Select the species, confirm your location, add any notes, and submit. Your sighting will be added to your life list automatically.
How does location access work?
Birdr uses your location to show nearby sightings, hotspots, and rare bird alerts. Location access is optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time in your device settings.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. You can request account deletion at any time by emailing support@birdrapp.com. We will delete your personal data within 30 days of your request.
